Our Economy Shop is one of the busiest stores in town! There are always treasures to be found, and great deals to be had.
The majority of volunteers work at the Economy Shop. Most days the shop has a continuous stream of donations coming in which must be sorted, cleaned, steamed, and processed for sale. With the lack of storage space, all items are put out for sale as soon as possible, so new items are always appearing on the shelves.
Our store relies on donations, but due to the lack of storage space, floor space, item recalls and Government regulations, below is a list of items we can NOT accept.
DONATIONS - WE DO NOT ACCEPT
Sofa beds
Computers/Printers
Scanners/Copiers
TV or stereo cabinets
Old model microwaves
Hard cover reference books
Baby furniture - on inspection
Hardwired light fixtures
Remodeling debris
Exercise equipment - on inspection
Large appliances
Tube televisions
Water coolers
Window blinds
Garment bags
Downhill skis/boots
Wet or filthy clothing
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ITEM
If you want to donate furniture, please phone the shop first to see if we have room to accept the item. Floor space is limited and this changes from day to day.
In the mean time, stop by our shop often and check out the new items!
