Powell River's newest gallery! Dancing Tree Gallery is a unique approach in Powell River. Over the years, local potter Darlene Calwell has established a cult following for her beautifully functional stoneware. This past year Darlene opened her own studio and gallery space, with a vision of creating a bright, professional gallery space to showcase local art. With that is mind, she invited local artists to rent the beautiful white walls of the modern space.
One of those local artists is me, Meghan Hildebrand. I've got my own sub-gallery at Dancing Tree, and it is the perfect place for me to conduct my local business. Keep checking in, as we are always changing our displays and Darlene continues to churn out her amazing pots. Darlene is happy to take custom orders.
Gallery hours are Tuesday - Saturday, from 10-4 pm, at the Crossroads Village (near River City Coffee)
