The Powell River Regional District is the owner and operator of the Texada/Gillies Bay Airport. Russell Storry is the Texada/Gillies Bay Airport Manager. An Airport Committee, composed of island residents, provides the regional district with recommendations about management and services at the airport.
The Texada/Gillies Bay Airport is a service paid for by taxpayers in Electoral Area D – Texada Island.
Airport Services
A small waiting room provides shelter, a public pay phone and a public washroom.
There are no fuel, food or transportation services at this airport.

There is no ice removal service.
Hangars
The regional district may lease hangar space upon request. Interested parties should contact the Airport Manager for more information.
