Sunny Dawn Kostelnik began her Real Estate Career in 1993 with Century 21 in Rossland/Trail BC. She was offered a position in Terrace/Kitimat BC and worked for Century 21 there as well.
The Land of the Midnight Sun called her home to the Yukon Territory where she worked with Coldwell Banker for 10 years.
In 2002 Dawn Kostelnik listed 43 homes in the tiny town of Faro Yukon. There were 250 people wanting to keep their community alive, the schools were going to shut down without a student population to support teachers salaries. Dawn took on the challenge. The New York Times picked up the story and 60 properties sold in a year in this tiny town. Private sellers were also able to sell their properties as a result of her marketing strategies and other sellers stuck Dawn's for sale signs up as well.
Dawn Kostelnik was made an Honourary Citizen of the Town of Faro, for Outstanding Contribution to their community and services far exceeding their expectations. This is Dawn's most cherished award in her real estate career which spans over 22 years, several years of which she was a Top Producer for her company and her clients.
