The Board of The Powell River Community Radio Society (operating CJMP 90.1 FM: Powell River Community Radio) is composed of PRCRS members who are elected as directors each year at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) by members in good standing of PRCRS . Board members serve for at least 1 year, and may run for re-election at the AGM. The Board is responsible for station operations and to the CRTC and government bodies that permit us to run a non-profit community radio station; also the Board is tasked with maintaining standards and adhering to CJMP’s Mission, Vision, Purposes and Values statements found in our Resources section.

CJMP is a listener-supported community radio station. As a non-profit alternative to mainstream media, we engage, educate, entertain, challenge, and provide community access to the airwaves.
