Kathie Mack "Powell River Real Estate"

Moving from Ft.St. John, B.C. I arrived in Powell River in 2000 with my partner and young son, eager to begin enjoying my favorite activities of kayaking, hiking, and gardening on a year round basis. Before long, we helped to initiate the "Eat Local-50 Mile Challenge" and that evolved into a passion to grow our own food, raise chickens, keep beehives, harvest from the sea, cook seasonally, and to preserve the bounty. International back-pack travelling with family members, rounds out my activities.
